Privacy policy
We take your privacy seriously, especially because our work involves photos and 3D scans of your body. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Last updated: 16 October 2026.
Who we are
Sculpt3D LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14998556, with our registered office at 72 Madeira Avenue, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 3EB.
For anything to do with your data, email enquiry@sculpt3d.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send through our website form or by email: your name, email address, phone number, where you would like to be scanned, your due date, how you found us and anything you write in your message.
- Gift voucher details: your name and email, the recipient's name, your message to them and the voucher amount.
- Photos, videos and 3D scans taken in our studio, at your home or by you, and the digital models and sculptures we create from them. These may include nude or partially nude images.
- Booking and payment records: appointment details, invoices and delivery address.
- Website data: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser, used to run and protect the website, and, only if you agree, analytics about how the site is used.
Your due date and your photos and scans tell us about your pregnancy, so we treat them as sensitive information. We only collect and use them with your explicit consent, which you give when you tick the consent box on our form or agree to your session.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and book your session: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To create, finish and deliver your sculpture: to perform our contract with you, and your explicit consent for photos, scans and your due date.
- To keep accounting and tax records: our legal obligations.
- To keep the website working and secure, and to block spam: our legitimate interests.
- To understand how people use the website: your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner.
We will never use your photos, scans, models or sculpture on social media, in advertising or on our website without your explicit written consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with trusted providers who help us run Sculpt3D, under contracts that require them to keep it secure and use it only on our instructions.
- Cloudflare hosts our website and provides Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a robot.
- Resend delivers website form submissions to our inbox. Your form details pass through their EU servers.
- Krystal hosts our email.
- Courier companies receive your name and delivery address to deliver your sculpture.
- Specialist 3D modelling partners: occasionally, to improve the result, we may ask a partner to help with your digital model. Anything we share is anonymised, with no names, addresses, faces, surroundings or tattoos, and they sign a confidentiality agreement first.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Photos, videos, scans and digital models: five years, so we can reproduce your sculpture if you ever need it, then permanently deleted.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Invoices and accounting records: six years, as required by law.
You can ask us to delete your photos, scans and models sooner at any time.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site and our forms. We only use analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Analytics only ever runs on sculpt3d.co.uk.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before
- ask for your data in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email enquiry@sculpt3d.co.uk. It is free and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
